This applied research project examines the use of social media to enhance learning and training and to strengthen professional networks of sub-Saharan African health workers. In addition to the scientific outputs, we will produce instructions for learners, scripts for moderators and tutors, and guidelines for health and health education institutions. The research consortium is made up of teams from Nigeria, Zambia, South Africa and Switzerland and an advisory board of international experts accompanies the endeavour.
